Does SMP hurt?

How many SMP sessions will I need?
For the majority of clients, we recommend planning on 2–3 sessions for optimal results. Some smaller, very subtle density projects may require fewer visits, while more extensive work or scar camouflage can require additional time. We’ll outline an honest plan during your consult.
Will SMP damage my existing hair?
No. SMP deposits pigment into the upper layers of the skin, not into the follicles themselves. It’s designed to visually support your existing hair, not interfere with it. Many clients use SMP alongside other hair wellness modalities.
How natural will it look?

Can I still change my hairstyle?
Yes. SMP is designed to integrate with your existing hair. You can still cut, style and color your hair as usual (with a few short-term aftercare instructions immediately following each session). We’ll review aftercare with you in detail.
